Where it started
We met at work—just two people picking up extra hours. At first, it was nothing more than small talk during slow shifts. What one of us didn’t know at the time was that the other had already decided to stay late just to keep the conversation going. (We’ll let you guess who.)
For a while, it seemed like we were both just in it for the paycheck—but little moments started to mean more. We started noticing when the other wasn’t around. One of us got a little nervous about asking the other out for tacos (again, guess who), and the other was quietly disappointed whenever they left early. Eventually, that taco date happened—and even though only one of us admitted it was a “date” at the time, it marked the start of something real.
We connected quickly over our love for music, being outdoors, and the importance of family. Coming from different backgrounds brought some challenges, but it also brought growth, respect, and a deep sense of appreciation for who the other person was. It wasn’t always perfect, but from early on, we knew this was something worth building.

Through the last 3 years…
The next few years were filled with little everyday things that turned into our favorite memories: concerts, hikes around Kentucky, cooking dinner together, or just sitting side by side, each playing our own video games. We supported each other’s interests—sometimes by jumping in, and sometimes by just being present nearby.
We learned how to communicate better, how to support each other emotionally, and how to talk through frustrations before they built up. (Fun fact: we practiced a lot of this while building Legos. Ask us about it sometime!) We figured out how to balance each other out—one of us is the planner, the other keeps those plans from getting out of hand. One taught the other to slow down, and one finally learned how to cut an onion properly. (It was a big moment.)
Even through the hard days, it always felt easy—like we were meant to find each other, to teach and learn from one another, and to build a life we both love.

While one of us (definitely) started daydreaming about a proposal around the 1.5-year mark, it was on March 14, 2024that the question was finally popped—and of course, the answer was yes. Within a week, we had our wedding date set: November 6, 2025.
Since then, we’ve been in full wedding prep mode—dreaming, planning, laughing, and making sure this day reflects who we are together. From designing this website to sending invites (and yes—we’re making the cakes ourselves, too!), it’s all been done with so much love and anticipation.
This journey has been one of the best experiences of our lives, and we can’t wait to take the next step surrounded by the people who’ve supported and loved us along the way. We’re so excited to celebrate with you—and even more excited to begin this next chapter, side by side.
